NIHR receives Deputy British Ambassador

Dr. Khalifa Ali Al Fadhel, Secretary General of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR), received in his office Mockbul Ali, Deputy British Ambassador, and Mr. Chris Thompson, Head of Programs Section at the British Embassy, in the presence of Counsellor-at-Law Mr. Yasser Ghanim Shaheen, NIHR’s Deputy Secretary General.

At the beginning of the meeting, the NIHR’s Secretary General welcomed the Deputy British Ambassador, expressing appreciation for the British Embassy's prominent role in promoting bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries.  During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of strengthening cooperation between the NIHR and the British Embassy, through coordination and joint cooperation between them and the establishment of training programs on human rights.

For his part, the Deputy British Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the NIHR’s hard work, stressing the readiness of the British Embassy to provide all support to serve the aspirations in order for the NIHR to achieve its objectives and competencies professionally.
